David was born in Liverpool and studied Fine Art at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Following a career in secondary, further and higher education as an art lecturer and Director of Faculty he now divides his time between Ditchling, Sussex and Palombara Sabina, Lazio, Italy.
David’s recent work, drawings, etchings and collagraphs, is largely in response to the Lazio landscape.
In Palombara he is slowly restoring a small olive grove and starting to produce high quality extra virgin olive oil for sale in the UK.
He is married to the Architect, Sally Williams, who has a special interest in designing residential eco-houses. David is also a Trustee of Ditchling Museum of Art and Craft.
